Well owned my motor for 4 years now and it had to happen some time!

Every year it has passed the MOT with out advisements but this year no so!

Off side inner track rod excessive play
D bracket on rear roll bar broken
New tyre

Then both front shocks as an advisory.

Not to bad

If only all T2 problems were as easy to fix as these will. David.

Cant moan. 4 years of no fails and its done 185K miles.

Only bit I need to source is the roll bar D bracket.

I have a couple of front one's if they are the same, but maybe not, I have rears on a chassis but it is buried under other junk at the mo, if you really get stuck let me know, Rick

Trust me, YOU GOT AWAY LIGHTLY.

Poor Rick has been working on my mav for some time (thanks again Rick ), lots of work, time and patience used on her and brought back up to standard by ricks loving hand and knowledge.
I have now also got a ticket on her and am picking her up Sunday.
Hopefully your truck will not start to go down hill as quickly as mine did before Rick sorted it.
Good luck

Thats pretty good going...

I took mine on Thursday and it failed on a brake pipe at the rear and a couple of small holes in the outer sills...much better than i was expecting.

They did advise me on a little excessive play on the steering rod that goes across the full front and connects the steering arms together, not sure what its called...where is the best place to get this from as i may replace it anyway?

It flew through the emission test as i run it on my home made bio which they commented on with the unusual smell....

Mine did too on 100% bio, but I have to buy it ooop north
If there's a simple recipe that you know works, I'd like to see it please :D

Making BioD ain't simple especially from used veg oil as an acid and an alkali titration need to be done to remove fats and give a quality fuel.
I know Ashworth Valley too. 0L11

Should do but check if the ip is Bosch as if its Lucas don't let any sort of oil/diesel mix go near it as that ip really doesn't like oil as even svo its too thick for the pump hope this helps .

The Tesco stuff is Rapeseed oil, is that OK?

wont matter what oil it is if ur van has lucas pump as the internal working cant take anything thicker than normal diesel but with ur 2.7 terrano just pour it in with diesel if it cold or 100% if in summer or convert to twin tank and use it at 100% all year round:thumbs
