Phew my Mav passed first time, after all the work done I'm very happy, had to replace fuel pipes for rubber hose, remove brake pipes front to back, remove LSV, & fit new brake pipe without the LSV, fit new screen washer pump, replace rear fog light bulb, & tarted up the body underneath in a couple of places. :clap :clap :clap

And I would like to say thanks to all on this forum as I couldn't have done it without your help. :thumbs :bow

Looks a tidy truck does that.

Has removing the load sensing valve made any difference to the braking?

That's what it's all about mate, beauty of a motor!!!

And what Clive said :naughty

Always a good feeling when you get handed that piece of paper. All that work has paid off :thumb2

I was pleasantly surprised when the MG passed back in March only needing a windscreen wiper. I expected a long list. The purchase of Clivvy's Terrano depended on how well it went.
Though I ended up with it anyway :D :lol The MG will die sooner or later with a failed clutch slave cylinder & will be beyond economical repair.

Did you remove the lsv or just disconnect it? I thought it was an mot requirement if it was fitted?

I don't notice any difference, & as it passed the mot brakes must be working fine, although the LSV as I understand it only comes into play when you load the back up ?

It was completely removed, if left on it would have to be working properly.

Hell that looks in really good nick underneath, not often you see them that good!! :thumbs

I could hear the mot guys muttering when they were checking her over, saying how good a nick she was in & the work I have done on her, when they were done they said they tried really hard to find something wrong but couldn't :lol. Most Terries & Mav's they see are pretty bad in at least one area.
So I'm gonna keep doing whatever it is I'm doing :D

Fair play and well done! Always good to get one over the 'authorities', lol.
