my run to derby is to pick up my eldest daughters longest and best friend for my daughters 18th birthday party and also take the mrs to see her mum, they aint seen each other for over a year, thanks for the offer of a stop by but i doubt i will have time this journey as got lots to do, was supposed to be a 6 a.m leave but now got to wait til after the re-test, i should be back down that way after xmas though so maybe then :thumbs

I go with Rustic, very well done indeed, must say was surprised by the cure for the HB issue, cannot imagine how that damage was done in normal use, Rick
 
Rick, It's really puzzled me how its happened :confused: but at least it was fixable and heres the golden goose :D:splif:

Have had this issue with the stripped thread on the cable.
I had to put a load of washers on so I could tighten up the nut.
Only way I could think this would happen is if there was a bit of play on the cable and every time the hand brake was used the lever was moving and rubbing the thread away.:nenau
