MOT and sills

MOT next week so I was checking the t2 and I found some bubbles to the rear of one of the sills, I remembered some thing on this site which said that this could be a fail although I would have thought on this type of vehicle that sills were cosmetic rather than structural. anyway I poked the bubbles and now I have a hole about 50p size. I am having some welding done and will spray waxol inside, but I am thinking of spraying expanding foam inside as well to keep out the moisture, what do you think? regards....bri
