Morning all,

Just bought a '95 Mistral imported from Japan in 2004. Been stood for a while (that ol' chestnut) so not venturing far from home at the moment. Seems pretty competent though - and soooooo much tidier than the Land Rover Discovery of the same year it replaces...

Loads of noob questions, some of which have already been answered but I'll stick them in the technical sections, I guess and try not to be too dumb.

I'm sure this forum will answer all my questions and I hope I don't outstay my welcome.

Thanks all,

Jim

Welcome, there's no such thing as too dumb, only learning. There's a wealth of knowledge here and some pretty decent folks too.
Now where are the photos? :D

Welcome! Lots of helpful people on here, and loads of great advice.

:thumb2

Some very dodgy jokes, and some almost as dodgy blokes!

:lol

Just kidding! (But not about the jokes :freak3:)

Great place to be if you have a Nissan.

Welcome mate :thumb2 someone on here once said the only stupid question is the one you don't ask!! I'm new here and sometimes feel daft but like I say, if you don't know something you don't know something! Now where's the photos :D

That's the weekend taken care of...

Will follow, I promise...

Question Time........

1....Who on the forum has owned his car, from new?
2....How old is the car that is owned by this person?
3....Has it been fitted with different brakes?

All the answers point to only one person on this forum........:thumb2

Where are you Uncle.......?

Well the dealership was Churchbridge in Cannock, a Ford Dealer, I still have the tax disc holder lol, but that's all.
The site was compulsory purchased when then put the M6 Toll road through, their approximate location is where the Toll road North pay station is.:nenau

I was not aware of them relocating. Mind you they were hopeless at servicing it...
Lost one of the "O" rings that was on the rocker box cover, when they did the tappets, at least they did the tappets though... so I had oil pouring down the back of the engine, took two visits under warrenty to sort it, after I told them it was an "O" ring under one of the cover bolts...:doh
I had a sneaky look the day before the second visit and realised what was missing. :thumb2
