Hi

I'm starting the process of changing my 4x4 and I think that I want a Patrol, so my more in depth research starts now:thumb2

My present vehicle is a Mitzy Delica 2.8 LWB, so I'm used to a big truck and crap fuel consumption!!

The Delica is getting a bit long in the tooth now although I've put IronMan kit on her which has lifted her 2" and slightly larger wheels. Before this was Daewoo Musso

I basically use the trucks for load carrying, towing and it will be kept in a field hence the 4 wheel drive.

What's your budget ?

Patrol's lovely but rarer than the Terrano and more expensive

I haven't quite discussed with the wife yet - worst case scenario £5k best about £15k.

Ideally wanted a bigger load space than a Terrano as I often carry 2,4mtr sheets etc

should easy get a decent patrol for that budget, but save some for any repairs you dont expect, cos it aint cheap.:thumbs

parts are expensive? Just for Patrols or all Nissans? I've got a Mitzy Delica and most parts are reasonable on the bay, except the parts that regularly break (expansion tanks)

Nissan Patrol. Battle ship strength , but not so clever on the rust front. My 4.2 Y60 has been absolutely awesome and not needed any consumables yet :clap
I guess the newer ones are more electronic biased and so may have more issues . Is your budget 5k or 15k:nenau
