more smoke questions

ill see owe it goes, but tbh im not even sure its THAT bad, ive never got CLOUDS of smoke, just a "puff"...as for other videos, ill do it from cold asap and upload...

I wouldn't bother as a diesel will always smoke a little more when cold until engine has warmed up.

i know i know lol, but sometimes i just cant help myself! i absolutely have to know everything about the car, so seeing the bit of non-black smoke set me thinking, but, ive stopped letting it bother me already (as I need to focus on replacing my Mazdas discs and pads this weekend!!)

Clivvy, I park my motor against a wooden fence on a night, it has a lovely black patch from the smoke my motor kicks out first thing in the morning over the last few years! :lol
Also I was following some cyclists the other day... you know, the ones that ride three abreast in the middle of the road, floored the car to eventually get round them and they almost chocked with all the sh1t the exhaust had coming out as I went past!!! :clap That'll teach 'em!

I do know my motor needs a new air filter, but I'd recon the smoke in your video is normal for a tractor engined 4x4 mate!

Clivvy, Ive watched the video as least 3 times now and Im still waiting for this "puff"you get whilst pressing the pedal, didnt think they had many gays up your neck of the woods Thought the pink pound capital was Brighton :augie :augie :augie :lol :lol :lol. Still youve made my week as when I read the posts I was thinking that its no wonder I get funny looks whilst dragging them heavy trailers up the hills and what do I do.
I just smile and look dumb which isnt hard for me

ha ha thanks guys, im just being fussy thats all, ive had so many issues with cars over the years i just get twitchy at the first sign of anything abnormal!

They all kick out some smoke, unburnt fuel, air filter etc. And I thought I was getting paranoid about the truck
