Just an extended bump stop holder and shock extension. Looks like a modded top arm too. Looks like there's not a lot of travel avail though !

Ah just spotted it, it's a dropped cross member so probably a 4" lift.

indeed, all that is pointless surely, due to loss of downward travel :nenau

Agreed as you cant go bigger than 35s without cutting the tub anyway :doh

I never went through with body lift yet as still on 31"

But I've got 33"s on my mind ...

Hahaha, sorry just worked out the dating for the posts. Was a while back

Not certain about your model, but my 32's ever so slightly touch when turning lock to lock. Has a 2" body and 2" suspension lift.
Didn't want to trim the guards and I can go pretty much anywhere, so I'm happy.

Even bigger just becomes a real pain.

35's not do-able without wrecking the stock outer arch trims and stuff. What about the inner wings and rear tub, do they need cutting ?

Gearing is my main problem tho, as I noticed the hit with 31's

Outer arch can stay but needs trimming at the bottom. Inner wings rear tyub are ok BUT the front of the sill is the big bugger. That does need cutting back and a new bit welding in.
Gearing is also a hit as you say. Then I'd done so many power mods it's fine on mine but in low box, man it eats hills :naughty

Also the arch extensions are nice but wtf is the vw badge about
