They're JAOS alloys which are Jap imports. They're 8 1/2 x 16s , anodized inner bits and an offset of -10 (I think) Got a set of 5
Toyota use them a lot so worth putting a search with Hilux in it

so a few weeks on how are they going, is here much road noise? have they affected fuel consumption much? :thumbs

no or little road noise.went outwith pete and adz this week and very impressed with them ...

id have some but , my concerns are

they dont do 35"

they seem very soft compound to keep road noise down , not sure how they will cope with welsh slate tearing at them , but mud snow rock and tarmac all very nice

the tread is quite rounded unlike other mud tyres ,
and they seem not chunky / half worn down 15mm of tread as opposed to 30mm with bfg and alike .... again probably to keep road noise down

all in all very impressed with them .

so only real concerns are welsh slate and how many miles you will get out of a set .

Adz, where did you get or what did you make those wheel arch extensions out of? Very nice job. Could do with a few of those.

Insa Traction Track's Awsome, so far pulled a modded landy out and today got so snowed in we had to wait for the plough to clear the road. That after we rescued the police in a comandered landy.
So, I've scared me, the miss'es and myself!!!!!

I had Insa Track Specials before the KL71s, they werre indeed a bloody good tyre but DAMN LOUD on the road and bonkas in the wet on tarmac
The Kumhos seem ace so far, just had two days full on in snow, ice mud and snow Awesome:thumbs
As Extreme said slate may be a worry, I'll have to bite the bullet soon though and find out:augie
MPG wise:augiewho knows. It gets empty I put more in:lol
I never bought the truck for it's fuel economy, and as I've modded it so far the figures will be useless to most others I guess:augie
