Does anyone know if Terrano Mk4 bonnet guards are available, I've searched high and low but can't find one anywhere.
If they're not available does anyone know why:confused:

Chris:)

What's a bonnet guard? :nenau

Ah, just been on fleabay, they seem to be some sort of bit of plastic to er er "protect you from bugs" !!!!!!!!!
Whatever next, bloody health n safety

I was thinking more of stone chip protection but just a bit confused as to why they seem to make them for MK 1-2 & 3, but not Mk 4.

Is it not just that the Mk4 isn't really recognised as a separate model as its only a minor facelift and doesn't effect the steel work so a Mk3 will fit your Mk4 anyway. Bl**dy horrible things though anyway - why not go the whole hog an get a car bra or better still wrap it in bubble wrap, pack it with silica gel and leave it in the garage.

Stone chips to the bonnet and above aren't really that much of an issue on a 4x4 as stones don't usually get flicked a high as we are.

OK
I thought it was a reasonable question, but judging by the answers, apparently not.

Sorry just can't imagine for the life of me why anyone would want to fit one - Terrano's aren't the most aerodynamic of vehicles anyway but I'd bet my bottom dollar that bonnet guards make em worse and personally I find em ugly too.

But anyway a MK3 one should fit.

You tend to find with most things they will only list them to 2002 (MK3) same with K&N filters, A Bars etc etc if it'll fit a 2000 - 2002 model then it'll fit the MK4's too - exact same engine and body shape... they just changed a couple of interior bits and the front bumper as far as I'm aware :thumbs

Mudlifecrisis has got one fitted... try PM him to see what he thinks of his :thumb2

Fitted mine about 11 years ago and as you can see it does a great job of protecting the bonnet from chips ;O)

One plus side I have noticed is you can see where the front of the car is easier which is handy for trialing and avoiding trees when playing.

Also stopped the buffet falling off the bonnet when green laneing on new years eve ;O)

And of course it makes the car go faster but not as good as 2 white stripes from front to back.
