missing digits on my LED dash display

i posted a copy on this subject some mths ago lads were really helpfull pointed me in the right direction of repairing it , after 9 mths faulty reading it drives me nuts as the bulbs behind the dash has also gone :bow so ive got soldiering iron ordered 10 LED bulbs from ebay in blue so very soon im gonna remove that digital display & soilder it, last time i couldnt remove the elec contacts as i didnt wanna yank & bugger up the conections still little unsure but should look well lit up blue when its got a proper readout display first time in almost 12 mth

Soldering iron????? The panel is a bit thin for that. Don't forget leds have a + and - so only work way round. David.

not had the display piece removed yet but im told soilder at the bottom where the tiny wires enter the display & wont get any more problems , its a air line crack that causes the problem soldier should sort it ... well cant make it worse nowt to loose eh

some one mentioned solder glue a while back, I got some off ebay, not tried it yet

Think it will be easier to glue with epoxy resin with silver in it. Much less chance of heat srinkageand damageing iy beyond repair. Best of luck.David.
