Hi kamsin asked via pm about Rob lane Edingley.
so i sent him a short route that includes Rob Lane and a few more.
It would take approx 1.5 hrs to drive so if ANYONE wants to arrange a mini meet and drive these lanes I will forward the route to you all via pm.
sorry but i wont be attending.

All the lanes are easy drive none scratching and suitable for standard road going trucks.

i am only free on the weekends of 6&7 aug and 13&14 aug for next month
if that helps to sort a day out

Ok, Shell we say 6th August meet around 10.30 at the start of Rob lane just off the A614. :clap
That should give people time to sort them selves out and not be rushing to re-arange anything and also give other time to join us if they want too.

NO PROBLEM just take your time all the lanes are in very good repair infact 2 of them have only been open a short time after restoration.
Always but ALWAYS leave enough space in front of any truck you may be following .that way you get to see what route he /she takes and how the truck clears the ground.
All but 1 lane is stoned surface and the other is grassed lane with shallow ruts.
so choice to straddle or follow ruts.:thumb2

so whos up for a meet on the 6 aug think we should meet up at white post farm roundabout on A614 as there would be room of a couple of trucks there then drive down to start at rob lane

as to whos leading group dont think we are going to have one just make sure we have someone with cb at front and rear to check we dont lose any one and ian says the lanes a straight forward without obsticals so as long as every one keep to the route we should be ok

think of it more as a chance to meet fellow club members and a local drive around

u have to remember these are roads and still fall under the law and as the driver u are responsible for ur own actions

hi may i just point out to you all that there is ample parking for 15 4x4s at ROB LANE.
If you are coming from the NORTH look for a sign for Lincs Caravans just before the road splits for the A6097 / A614 .
If coming from the East / south you will see the the LINCS Caravans just after the roads merge.
PARK NEXT TO LINCS CARAVANS BUT DONT BLOCK THE FARM LANE WHICH LEADS ONTO ROB LANE.:thumb2
