I am around the Matlock area quite a bit so they were my first call for a clutch kit and a few service kits late last year, they will always be my first call for parts.

Out of curiosity have you all seen Milner's Evoque http://www.milneroffroadracing.co.uk/milner lrm-1 race car.htm

I looked around one of them at a recent 4x4 show at Donington, WOW best 4x4 I have ever seen, like a Bowler or Wildcat bought up to date, it has a 5L Supercharged Ford V8 and the engineering is absolutely top class :bow

CREDIT to Banshee :clap for asking about club discount, what with Veg oil and discount from Milners available I can see me keeping this Maverick for a long time.

Cheers mate :) it's when you start using the WVO that you'll crap yourself at how much your actually saving

Right you guys, listen up because I'm only going to tell you once :thumb2

I went to Milner yesterday and picked up my Tie Rod Ends and also some more polybushes for my lower arms :clap

I spoke to the guy on the parts desk who was very helpful however I didn't manage to grab his name :doh

He has agreed that he will offer the club discount BUT not in the conventional way as he has in the past with other clubs. Pajero Owners UK were given the code "POCUK" and that was utterly abused as it was just passed around the internet.

We both came to the conclusion that in order for the club to be offered discount we need some kind of unique number that can identify a specific member on the forum, I will def need some input from the admin surrounding this but this is how I can see it working;

I presume each member has a unique member number, Milner agreed that in order for members of the forum to utilise the discount they must first be premium members and have paid their £10, once this has happened they should then be added to a database/spreadsheet that denotes - Club Username - Unique Membership Number - This is what Milner will use to tie us to the tills and a PostCode of some sort, this could be a delivery address.

I understand that the admins may be too busy to do this and I would therefore volunteer myself to undertake this work if I'm given the right info or permissions to be able to access the info needed and I will then liase with Milner ensuring all members are up to date

I think this would be a real asset to the club as from what I can see we use them a lot and I have also been told that they are in talks with a local pressing company and they are also going to try and stock body panels soon such as Front Wings, doors etc etc

They are also going to send some stickers to me soon as well when they have been printed so if anyone is interested drop me a PM with your address and I'll send you one out for the price of postage :)

Also if anyone has any issues with the kit from Milner can they post on here as they were very helpful in that respect and were begging for feedback whether it be positive or negative so they can improve it going forward

So, BAT21 can you shed some light so we can get the ball rolling :clap:clap:thumbs

Send BAT21 a PM to make sure he has seen this :thumb2

Hi Banshee,
To be honest I would rather buy it filtered etc, my workshop is heaving now and I am selling stuff to make room (i.e. ammo boxes), you saw the Volvo, also have 3 old 50's Fordson vans and currently turning one into a mobile coffee machine with a blown V8, Karts , Bikes, 4 poster then the money earner, a small ever decreasing woodworking shop, I could not put my amicable wife through old cooking oil being collected and possibly dropped off, plus I don't do mega miles, but then again my old camper van could probably run it too......... no-no-no :doh

where can I get my unique member number I have paid the £10 so I assuming I have a premium membership. I use milners alot ?

Made an order last week.
Was ready with my PIN number but had no idea what my membership number was.....
The lady at Milners looked down a list, gave me my membership number which I couldn't find anywhere on the forum by me providing my username, and didn't give a toss about the PIN number even though I said at least twice that I thought I had to provide it!

BTW, the discount is 5% off the parts prices before addition of VAT and shipping.
I had no idea what the discount was going to be until I asked when ordering!
