Hi Guys,

Looking to purchase a new MIG welder very soon, been looking on machine mart as some of the clarke models seem to get good reviews. I just need someone to point me in the right direction.

Clarke MIG Welder (Turbo) - 151TE

Clarke MIG160TM (Turbo) MIG Welder

Clarke 165TEM (Turbo) Mig Welder
http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/mig165

Out of these three which is best to go for? £400 max spend really, want something half decent though as it will get a fair bit of use.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I bought a mig second hand one for £100, Thats the way I'd go personally.

Look at some local listings on ebay.

as Ontop of that price you will need, gloves, gas + regulator and worth going for a auto darken welding mask.

I'm looking at getting a newer/ better mig, I have a SIP 130 at the mo, but have been looking at the Clarke 150/160 machines or the GYS smatmig 162.
Not made my mind up yet, I don't need a commercial type welder, so one of these will do me.
