Steve,

It seems that the true 'active membership' is very low and many people who signed up on the old site haven't visited for quite some time.

Of the 1,312 registered users here on the site, 420 have not logged in for over a year

Less than half the total membership are paid up club members and this number is growing weekly :doh less than 1 in 10 are renewing their membership.

I think a lot of these members simply find the answer to their problem and that's as far as their interest goes.

very true they get what they came for and go.

so we need to know from the likes of willow, why she stayed with us lot?

I haven't found what I'm looking for, that's why I haven't left yet!

I have been a member for a few months now - I rarely contribute to tech questions - mainly beacause I have no knowledge of Terrano/Mav/Patrol, which the majority of members have. I do chip in with general things though as I know my way around vehicles in general.

I do enjoy the social side of the club and have met some great members last weekend (Neddy/Cosmic/Daveg/Dadba/Sweety) - that alone is worth my tenner and continued contribution to the site.:thumb2

I'm looking forward to more meets and social events, when I can make it.

Cheers

Graham

I originaly joined to try and sort my old petrol maverick. I never did get the engine right but stayed for the extra ideas and banter.;)
Never done this forum stuff before so didnt know what to expect, but joined a few others since this one and still use this one cause the others are so up their own bottoms:confused:
I've got another maverick now and still cant get it to go:augie
So come on all you techies help me please:bow

I'm just very shy but enjoy the site in general it is' as bat says more relaxed on here now ,but I still feel totally different posting on the uk site but at the moment cant quiet explain It In so many words

hi its fingers
I have been a member for 4 years now - I rarely contribute to tech questions - mainly beacause I have no knowledge of Terrano/Mav but i enjoy meeting up ,i have made some good frends on this site ie tubbs, muzz, mav, dave, alan,BUT and it is a big but all i see is offroading all the time ,if its not offroading no one turns up to a meet say for a caravan trip for the week end ,so i ham thinking will i stay ?

I'm all for meets. TBH i've never been off-road apart from tooling about in my field, even then not with Nav (yet:sly).

if there is an overnight meet within reasonable distance (100-200 miles) I'm there:thumb2

Not done the social thing yet, joined in the summer of 2008. had some help with tech problems when i first joined, and have stayer around ever since. for the persons who join to get help then naff off, - well they obviously dont know the true meaning of a club forum. Was a member of another 4x4 forum prior to this one, (whos name i wont give) but to give a clue i had a freelander at the time. Quite simply put that forum was not in the same league as this one, they wasnt as friendly, helpful, and the banter revolved around taking the Pee out of other members motors. needless to say i sold up wised up and bought a T2.
I like this club and the members who dont use it, well they dont know what they are missing. gonna be around for a while if thats ok.

hi guys

I am a member of a few clubs but nearly all are very quite and not alot happening. I am into motorbikes as well and have a good site with that as well. but as with alot of sites most are very quite.
I do wonder sometimes why people sign/register with sites if they are not going to become involved in it. there is so much you can do with a forum, meets, touring, greening laning and just making new friends for socializing.

I have only been to one meeting and I am going on the orkney trip as well. really looking forward to it. everyone I have met have been really nice people and i look forward to getting out more once working again.

here,s to lots more meets, etc....
