Are there any members in derby that would be able to tell/show me local greenlaning areas?

total newbie at this so would have to be easy laning to start with, would more than likely have the wife and kids with me aswell lol

Apart from the Stanage there all easy lanes & a standard 4x4 will cope easy :thumbs
Might get a few scratchs here & there but can polish out :thumbs

But

Never go on your own in 1 truck :thumbs

thanks for the advice Adz, i have been reading throught he site and all advice does point towards not going alone, if I take my lads radio controlled 4x4 does that count as not alone? lol

As Adz says, never go alone. You never know when you will need pulling up a steep bank of a river out of the river, eh Adz lol :thumbs:thumbs

Don't know why but there are 3 lanes that I loved in Derbyshire.

Bamford Hill, Pindale Quarry and an area I don't know the name just that people refer to it as "The Steps". Check out youtube for those lanes.

Look for the Derbyshire Heather day Thread, I really wanted to go on that day but I'm guessing with whats happened this week I may of been stranded needing a tow out on to a road.

err hi, got plenty in my head and on maps, drop us a line, can sort another trip
later in autumn.

Elty is Alfreton way, there are lanes round Ashbourne but I still prefer the
Hope Valley.

i know most of the lanes from darley dale up into the peak district, most of them are pretty easy going, with a couple of exeptions.drove them all in a standard lwb terrano except minninglow lane which is very wet and badly rutted so its best to keep off it through winter months.will have to do a run around the dales before it gets too wet as it can cuase major damage and give us 4x4 drivers a bad name.
