We recently went laning in north Yorkshire.
It was probably closer to where you live than we do.
Personally I am prepared to to travel to any length of the country to go green laning in new surroundings,fresh lanes ,different views.and a million other reasons.
This is a great forum.I've met a fair few members now.

Closest I get to off-roading is pulling the tipping trailer up a croft to the woodland at the top of the hill to get my logs and the Terrano does it every time in all weather.

We need a nice arty farty shot of this next time you do it, full trailer!!!

Might be up for something, Edinburgh based myself, although I do use her daily to get to work, so have always been a bit wary of breaking stuff! Forestry tracks are probably not too bad, whereabouts are they?
