It was gentle fettering with a lump hammer, carefully folding the wing round so it has a smooth edge and still looks neat.

It pained me to hit Terrance but those tyres are expensive and I don't fancy having to buy new ones again so soon. Truck is going to be re-torsioned soon anyway when I replace my 2" lift springs for 3" :sly
 
Now the silicone has dried I fitted the work around bulb and holder last night.

All good, and will keep the truck legal and mobile 'til Zippy saves the day and sends the replacement loom.

Only two photos are earlier in the thread. I think you'll get the idea from them.

I just joined the temporary bulb fix with a "chocolate block" connector and then wrapped it well in insulating tape.
