60 miles round trip and I reckon I used 3 gallons of fuel, 70mph was 3,000 revs, not convinced it would out accelerate a Discovery unless it was downhill with the wind behind it.

Oh they do:thumbs:thumbsWas in the Yorkshire Dales with TRS & the modded Disco that was with us just could'nt keep up on the flat or up hill:augie
Hi Zippy no mines not chipped:(just got a K&N filter fitted but when you give it some it'll spin the rear tyres in 1st & 2nd in the dry & often in the wet the wheels will spin in 3rd if you keep your foot to the floor when changing gear. But be warned you can easily blow your engine doing so:augie

Having owned a Disco and now this thing I can honestly say the Disco was far quicker on acceleration and top end, couple this with better fuel economy and you have the answer, dont bother with a Nissan.
Anybody want to buy one with new MOT (Today) and Tax until April?

how much you want for it. if its got probs it should be well worth a punt...
for a good price.
you wont find something easier to fix. ... but hey its your 10.00

From what I can make out there is nothing at all wrong with it, it is just not the truck for Me.
I have just done the drop links front and back, anti roll bar bushes front and back, new brake pads up fron, new gas shocks up front.
136,000 miles.
£1500 no offers.

well it'll cost you 10.00 for you to find out if its the truck for you, once we fixed it... its more than likely one of the easy fixes requiring just service parts say 40.00 and your off .

at 1,500 its not the truck for me :nenau

I am sorry you seem to have difficuly with the Nissan Clothahump - there are 300+ guys on here that will testify against that.

But there is no accounting for taste and i guess it's not for you:thumb2

Hope you manage to sell it to someone who appreciates it.

Cheers
