I have done some brake servicing. The handbrake wasn't working very well and the footbrake pulling to one side very slightly. The handbrake mechanisms in the rear drums appeared to be free, but I dismantled ,cleaned and used HMP grease ,and the result was that after reassembly ,the self -adjusters could be heard clicking and the handbrake now works. On dismantling the front ,I discovered that the two parts of the caliper were siezed together. To unsieze them ,without damage ,required very gentle force with a spanner and plusgas.A friend told me he had drilled a hole and used a punch to avoid wrecking the calliper.Hope this will be helpfull to someone.
