Ummed and Ahhed about this but after going to see a 2003 Terrano LWB there is more room in the back for the kids, not just with the flop down seat but with the rear bench.

Mine barely fit in my SWB.:doh

So rather than have it sit there until Im on holiday in August and weld it, or pay the garage to weld it Im going to offer it a the bargain basement price so I can move onto a LWB. I'd have kept hold longer if the MOT wasnt up as it seems daft it sitting there for 8 weeks gathering dust waiting for Mr MIG.

Good bits:
Good stereo
K & N Filter
Prev owner had new clutch fitted and 265 section tyres
133K miles
Clean inside.
2.7 Diesel
Decent tread on tyres.
Lovely colour

Not so good bits:
Will need inner & outer sill (OS) welding for MOT
Will need wheel bearing (though I cant say I noticed this) for MOT
Frilly wings

MOT due 5th July:eek:

£400 with road tax to End of October located near J29 of M6
Ive refitted the original plate to the front and removed the strop which Im keeping for the next one.

:thumbs
Getting a fresh test put on, so price will go to £700 with 12 months MOT.

That said Im assuming everyone here has enough T2's to be going on with though!:nenau

Fresh MOT with all welding done to a very good standard. No advisories.
Taxed till end of October

£700 firm as it stands.

Lovely car. If I had the cash id get it for my missus. She's after a swb to play with.

Hope it goes to a nice home :thumb2

has to be a buyer for that money, £700 is a bargain, especially if (other than the bearing) everything is running nice and sweet.

Wheel bearing done too for MOT. All running sweet as a nut. Not in any rush to sell but I have seen both a bike and a maroon LWB that I like:nenau

As for too far away! Meh!!! I once went by train and ferry from Preston to the IoW for a car. If ye wants it badly ye will travel for it.

It's a proper lovely little motor!

If I can pay in 7 instalments it's a deal :naughty

I'm tempted.:doh

I'm away to the Outer Hebrides with my Terrano and caravan Wednesday (16th July), back on Monday evening (21st July).

Where in Lancashire are you?

Boshed it on Autotrader now at £990 ono ( so that when I drop whoever buys it thinks they have a deal rather than starting it at what I actually want then getting bloody silly offers that take the urine). £9.99 for 2 weeks much cheaper than eBay.

Ebay classified add is only £14.99 for a mouth used it a few times got lots of interest and sold few cars that way also no final value fee

Will give it the fortnight on Autotrader then perhaps try that. I know Ive lumped it on at a grand, but what Im happy to take for it is considerably less - its simply whenever in the past I have advertised things at what I actually want even when stating no offers I still get derisory offers.
Might work, might not.
Someone had offered a swap for a LWB on facebook, but it looks like they have munched the front end of it now :(

Though I would like a later LWB and have seen a lovely one in beige (metallic gold) though I cant put a deposit on it til I have shifted this one. And they wont take a truck as old as this in P/ex.
The good news is the kids fit fine in a LWB rear bench. There also seems more room up front between me and the steering wheel, or that might just be my imagination.

Well still no joy - had one "Ive bought the train tickets an I'll be there at 11am" type phone call for the chap not to turn up at all - I rather suspect that he may have been abducted by aliens en-route to Preston and even now is being analy probbed by an object the diameter of a dinner plate.
I suspect its totally the wrong time of the year to be selling one of these really at this sort of price The annoying thing is I have seen a LWB that I really really like in Bolton. Bother :(

Well, there is a possibility I have sold the Mav, and bought a T30 XTrail.
