I got me hair off the other day looking for summat in me boot.
this pic is on a tidy day.
and its still way too unorganised for my head.so I have done some work on me baby today to sort it out.

pics later.
I also tidyed the front footwells.
the carpets are already gone and today the rear feet warmers went along with tyding the conduit stuff up.ready for some sand and black paint. I think that center consol is on my to bin list.

I bought one of them fold out boot organiser things to keep my stuff tidy.
It's very organised and has got pride of place in my shed:lol:lol
Have to take it out when I put the dogs in the truck and got fed up of putting it back in.
Might have to order one of them floor toolboxes from you mate:thumb2

next job is the kitchen:D our cooker is a bit tired and I am looking for a new one. I like petrol powerd stoves for the cook temps in winter.
I may get two colman single burners in stead of my twin.

I will be doing summat with the rear door card too. but weight is an issue here as its already carrying a 33 tyre. but a small fold down table for a small cooker may be nice under my soon to be extendable rear door roof canopy:D
the cool box is staying as our truck is also our works canteen and summers comin.

I only have two seats in mine and a deck at the back.
No problem with MOT for last two years
Had a bit of a hassle with insurance they wanted to call it a commercial, in the end I convinced them I could get the seats back in under an hour and they gave in.

Is a lot of weight on the rear door as you say.
Maybe a swing out spare wheel holder mod is in the pipe line.
I'm sure I have seen these on some 4x4s but can't remember which ones.

that's a beltin idea, cant stick it on the bonnet. cant stick it on the roof cuz of me ladders and I love the look of it on the back door.
will look into it when funds allow.

me exhaust is more important.

We once had someone join the forum from eastern Europe and posted photos of his Terrano. He had made a fold down shelf from the tailgate, he'd bolted twin ring camping gaz stove to the shelf. Even made a new door card that wasn't flammable.

The T1 has the swing out rear wheel, very heavy. It bolts to the corner of the rear wing, but when you look, there is a lot of re-enforcing in there for it.

Some of those photos remind me of the mods that Terranosaurus did on his SWB for Macmillan Challenge. He posted loads of photos.

Here is a deck I did earlier, not all that pretty but functional
I screwed 4x2 [100x50] to the floor using the bolt holes for the two rows of seats
notched out the timber to take old roof rack bars as bearers and cut two hatches to give access to rarely used small stuff
I carry a lot of tool boxes for my worktop jobs

I have lots more pics of stages if anyone wants to see, I used OSB 18mm thick for the deck boards, this took the best part of a 8x4 or 1220x2440
My trolley jack is in a suitcase under the front section, lots deeper than the rear.

sorry forgot pic:doh

I didn't want to cover the little cubby holes up as they are usefull.
so a hinged bit to stuff me work cloths in.
and a wooden lift out storage area

Toyota surf has a swing out spare wheel carrier that could maybe be modified.
