Maff amp

Hi I have a terrano 2 2002 2.7 tdi Lwb and keep reading about maff amp. I've up'd boost a little I also run 50/50 veg oil is this something I could do with or is remap only needed. If amp maff needed what does it do and wheres best to get one. Tia

Good shout dude, I'm actually getting mine fitted this coming Saturday so watch this space :sly

It actually splices onto the maf sensor wiring by the air box, and if I'm not mistaken you have a little adjuster box with an on/off switch that is located where you fancy, usually sits next to bonnet switch inside car. :thumb2

Upto and quite frequently 100% veg. Did my laning trip Sunday on only veggie, no diesel, no two stroke and no redex. Been using it since January. Done over 10,000 miles :thumb2

Is that new veg oil or filtered old. That's good to know as been running 50/50 so should be ok fingers crossed as can get plenty for £2 per 20litres of used

what it does is tell the ECU that more air is going in than actually is, so ECU ups the fuel to match it, great for more low down power but drops off quickly once the turbo gets up to speed, Rick
