Can anyone tell me or even better show me a pic of where the Orange wire from one of Ray's original MAF AMP's is supposed to connect to.

Not sure if I'm having a blonde moment but the instructions aren't clear to me in regards to that connection

Thankies

Came across those already but still didn't make things any clearer for me.

I just can't work out where to physically crimp the orange wire. Also even without the Powerchip turned on, at idle my MAF reads 2.1v rather than the 1.8v suggested :nenau

My MAF read a lot higher, it means you have to only turn the MAF amp up a small amount, otherwise the engine goes into limp mode...

You have to cut the Blue/White wire on the MAF.

Then the Orange Wire on the "MAF amp" connects to the Blue/White wire that is comes from the MAF

The White wire on the "MAF amp" then connects to the Blue/White that goes back towards the ECU.

I don't think you are reading the post properly, you have to "Cut the Blue/White wire" This then gives you two Blue/White wires ends... one that goes to the MAF, and one that goes to the ECU...

There are pics on that original post, some from Rick I think, and some of mine. Not sure how helpful mine will be, as I used extra plug and socket, so I can easily disconnect it and remove it from the circuit if I needed (not that I ever have!)

You might need to go to my thread on how to get your browser to show "Photobucket" pictures to see them though, as I have that loaded, so not sure which pictures are Photobucket, and which are hosted elsewhere.
