Hi guys not had much time to play with the terrano till now but I've noticed the arse looks a little saggyier than usual and the height seems to have dropped compared to the front.
I must admit I have been towing my twin axle caravan with the truck which may have put pay to the rear springs in the last 8 months I've replaced the rear shocks with brand new standard shocks but left the original springs.
When replacing the shocks I fitted a pair of spring spacers which lifted the truck by 2" I then raised the fronts on the torsion bars then fitted my 31. X 10.5 x 15 " tyres on hilux wheels for that slightly wider stance.
Now the front of the truck looks higher than the rear and before anyone says lower the front torsion bars I can't because of the offset of the wheels.
What I want to know if I fit miners 20 % stronger springs with my spacers will it raise the rear at all or will it just raise it to the standard height with the spacers ? Will it be really hard ?
Worst case scenario if the springs are shot could I replace them with milners ones and hope for the best or what about putting standard springs back in there with dislocation cones fitted at the top ?
Alternatively could i fit longer shocks and longer springs which would give me the same lift ?
Oh and what's the cheapest way of doing this as cash is tight at the moment
Thanks in advance guys
Nice to be back
