Does sound like glow plugs, easy to check.
Probably 3or4 gone if very difficult to start,

It will be lumpy till warm, but after it is warm it will be ok, normal in driving etc, but only when cold you have the problems, then def glow plugs, or might be the glow plug relay not working.

Does the warning light in the cab wiork?

glow plug light works

doing long run tomorrow, will see it when very warm runs well

changed glow plugs, 3 of the 4 were duff

but still a sod to start

where is the relay, and where to get a new one from??

Zippy you swine two threads going now :lol The relay is to the left of the battery as you look at it. Sort of tucked into the wing at the front. Watch out for dodgey wires and connections as there can be corrosion there from road salt etc :thumbs
