This may have been covered before. If so, I apologise in advance. I have an '03 Patrol GRSVE, 7 seats, leather blah blah blah..... I was wondering, has anyone had this work done? What did you think of it? Did you lose interior space, seats?

Is it petrol or diesel ?
If petrol then the best way to save your space is to get a rear wheel Gas Tank fitted to the door. Bin the spare and carry a proper puncture spray can kit for off roading types. Costs a bit more but thats the pay off. Cheap way put a tank in the boot. OR possibly you could go for two long tanks underneath but I'm not keen on that format myself:augie

Hiya, yeah, I thought I'd made it clear that it was a 3.0td... Sorry. The spare wheel conversion sounds a better option.

google lpg diesel

gather its more akin to nitrous in a petrol, works with diesel not instead
creates loads more power saves burning diesel, so makes slight saving
at the pumps whislt lpg is cheaper than diesel.

unless diesel engine is converted to spark ignition then have a much
stronger 'petrol' engine, as per some taxis, atleast on the 2.7s.

I would be wary with the zd, of doing anything to it outside the box
as this engine seems to have its work cut out just being itself.
