Went in my brothers Terrano today and it sempt a lot more lively than my Maverick, not sure if there is something wrong but am sure his is a lot quicker off the mark, is there anything I could check?

if tdi vs td version, then not surprised.:thumb2 but yours is a tdi...
so poss MAF..

Try a joint standing start... on private road of course...
 
Cheers for that, what should I use to clean the maf sensor, his just sempt to rev easier, I changed the filters last month tho.

I use meths on a cotton bud :lol probably better stuff as meth leaves a residue but seems to work anyway.

Replace fuel filter and I'd just replace the maf tbh mate
 
Might be worth chucking some injector cleaner in the tank. I put a bottle in a quarter tank , not what it says on the bottle :lol

Done that,I filled the new fuel filter with forte injector cleaner when I replaced it, the garage where I bought it from said that was the best thing to do with it.
 
Done that on my Landrover as engine smoking . Turns out who ever fitted the engine run the fuel return back into the fiter and not the tank !!!! I wondered why it was over fueling :doh:
 
There's some right bodgers out there, you never know what you're buying half the time.
