low on power once engine up to temp

ok, so i sorted the no power between 1 and 2k revs, was the turbo actuator seized. now i have low power until about 2.5- 3k revs when turbo kicks in and has a misfire, however, when engine is cold it runs good as gold with power throughout rev range and no missfire... any ideas?

Well you're getting there then mate!!!

I've never had this issue myself but whenever something runs fine cold and then dies a death when hot at those rev ranges it always seems to point to the CPS (crank position sensor)

have you done anything with the egr valve:nenau
that's if it has one,some of these trucks do and some don't.
a lot of threads on here about blanking them off as they can stick open and cause running issues.

He's got a round headlight jobbie so it stands a chance!!

Good shout Elty, EGR is probably best tackled first as even if it isn't knackered it doesn't matter as blanking them is best done anyway

had a similar issue on my 2.4 petrol terrano and that was a stuck egr valve.
blanked it off and all was good again.:thumb2

Try water temp sensor the one for ecu not the gauge one. Two pin plug from memory

The turbo comes in at 1800RPM not 2.5K+:thumb2 a stuck open EGR would also cause slight engine braking higher up the rev range from what i've read up on them

i "think" ive sorted it! blanked the egr, and seems to be ok now, will find out for definite on the way to work later

Bearings out of a bike wheel or crank often fit perfect well that's what I used:lol
