Up here people are getting done for having their number plates in the windscreen:augie

Comes down to local "plod"... :augie
As far as the MOT goes it has to be on the front & vertical as already said :thumbs

For me its the perfect place as it can not get covered in dirt or be broken / pulled off when off road. :thumbs

4x4 & certain sports cars have them on the bonnet as a sticker, unless it left the factory like that  it is illegal :augie

Cheers rustic, tis a nice post.

I sure do know ive made a few silly choices but at the same time you do learn from them. Luckily for me i usually have the advantage of working at a main dealer which gives me access to guys who are willing to help and along with you guys on here giving me advise and mechanical help im in a good place.

I will look into repositioning the front number plate but it will have to be on hold for the time being, as is off-roading for now till I get e snorkel sorted, and saying that, the winch has to go on too!

I Ike to think I have learnt from what you have told me, wether it be an alternative option or in the case of my bumpers, what to watch out for.m:thumb2

Alex, I really hope this works out for you, probably best to post your ideas, first, before getting the toolbox out, benefit from the many many years of experience that most of us have. Some more than others...
There are dozens of members all willing to help you, and to help other fellow members of course, I think this is the main reason that people enjoy this forum.

Great to be here.:thumb2

Take care, don't take chances.

Thanks dude, I do certainly use you guys on here :thumb2

I like to think I ask before I do, only thing was I didn't have pics of my bumpers.

But yeah the air filter thing was a silly idea, mixed with the fact that my air intake it on display for the wheels :doh

Luckily it's such a resilient engine.

The only thing I can think of is debris getting into the air intake (past the filter) shut the power off on my truck? :nenau

dont plates have to be vertical and free from reflection.

was it cosmic that had his on front of roof rack?

perhaps a vertical a bar could be its home alex.

Yes Cosmic mounted both number plates on his roof rack & the rear also had extra tail lights etc fitted aswell
