Loss of power

Having problems with lack of revs. 5 times in the last month my motor would tick over at lower revs than usual,, when i pull away there is a lack of power and it gets worse until it cuts out about a 100 yards down the road,, It is hard to start after that !, when it eventualy starts it is usualy ok. It feels like a lack of fuel,,, (when I pull the tickover handle out it still chugs ) Any help guys would be appreciated...

I cleaned the mini filter about 9 months ago !, how often do you need to clean it ?.

Depends on how many miles you do? did you change the main fuel filter at the time? and if you have been unlucky enough to pick up some dirty fuel or not :?:

when you pull the tick over handle out (as you call it) its actualy a cold start device whick richens the fuel supply and could also make truck run as you discribe, if fuel lever on pump is sticking on .two levers top one is for revs.make sure lower one is returning to its stop.

I changed the fuel filter about 6 weeks ago,,have done about 9000mls since cleaning the mini filter, Iwill check the pump Ian !.

might be wroth doing the mini filter again to count it out
