Ok, so i filled the blue truck up with cooking oil and diesel, then it started loosing power, i just put it down to needing a new filter but as it was being taken off the road i left it. Then yesterday i filled the Mav up with 40 lts of cooking oil and the same thing has happend, almost full loss of power. Now the mav had 1/4 tank of diesel in it and i also put 3 lts of petrol in to thin it a little, (As i always have). Yesterday it drove spot on alday, but today coming to work, almost had to get a tow. The filter was changed about 6 months ago and thats going to be first point of call. but im wondering if the oil was bad. Its was from farm foods 10lt for £10.

Ok, over to you guys.

PS, MAF is ok.

Mine has been fine for all last week on diesel, but I put 20L of KTC soya in and 3L of petrol and its doing the same, not so bad when warm.

I will go back to diesel for a few weeks when I'm on empty

Im running the old one now matey, as the new one has been taken off the road. Its never had a problem with cooking oil when its running though, some times its been a pain to start up if its cold but always ran sweet.

im starting to think the oil is crap. May try to get it out and refill it with diesel as its my only vehicle at the moment.

I use oil from farmfoods at £10 for10l. I had a similar problem and it was a inline filter I had put in. Got rid of that and it ran fine. I would change you're filter? See how it goes
