Loss of power terrano 2.7 tdi touring 98

Hi,can anyone shed any light on this problem??
I have a terrano 2.7 tdi touring five speed manual,when the vehicle is started from cold,it pulls like a train,gradually as it warms up,and finally reaches normal temp,the motor looses all power,and crawles along at a snails pace,its slower than a week in jail !!
I have replaced the fuel filter,and replaced the air flow sensor,as it came up as a fault,but still no joy, have also replaced the temp coolant sensor,and still no joy,so im now lost as to the problem is,someone has suggested the crank sensor?? where do i go from here??? should have kept my pajero !!,any help gratefully appreciated,andy.:nenau

sounds like the crankshaft position sensor ...... use the search function or look in downloads for code reading so you can confirm

Ckp is certainly a possibility, as they are affected by heat over time/age.
