A few years back, I had thought about a set of 3/4" drive sockets, but to be fair, I have always managed to get by with 1/2" on the Mav, and just buy extra sockets as required.

To be honest I wouldn't have got them but the only single sockets I could find were pricey and only in 3/4. I was after 41mm socket.1

So in theory i could have just bought a t bar and the 1 socket that i need right now for about £40. This whole thing cost less than £50 delivered, had excellent reviews and comes with a lifetime guarantee. Silverline - used their stuff in the past. I found that their ratchets are a bit dubious ( similiar problems that I had with a kamasa set- snap teeth very quickly, especially 1/4 ) but the actual sockets / t bar seem Ok. Clearly not snap on or whatever and it probably wouldn't stand up to daily use by a HGV fitter, but for me its perfect.

I've also got a tractor which I'll be working on soon too so it will get used then too.

And as I explained to the Mrs, it'll help me with me homework, protect us at night and I promise to take it for a walk every day. Even when its raining!

We need to use harmonic balancer - as I have purchased a harmonic balancer removal kit....

I mean pulley? Dont you just force them off with a big screwdriver, hammer and a cold chisel?

Also does the drop arm on the steering box, not sure if it big enough for the pinion nut on rear axle, Rick
