Blimey, what a long day, yesterday evening after work, we went to the gun club after I rode home, whilst I was there I noticed my eye was itchy :nenau
Rubbing it was probably the worst thing, after we got home it continued to itch, I could not see anything trapped in the lids ect until I tried to sleep, not a chance, very painful with eyes shut, it was then I saw a mark in my iris :doh
So I tried to wash it out using a special wash station kit, and I tied a cotton swab, no good...
Off to ealing hospital, got there for 2am... After a long wait the nurse tried to have a go but could not remove the object. She then referred me to the eye specialist at Baker Street. Once there we had a very long wait again, the docs digs right in an starts getting his sharps out (I went as white as a ghost apparently)
Once he put anaesthetic in my eye he told me to Focus on a certain point. About 10 mins later (or 5 years of tourtière in my time) :lol the object was out.
It seemed to be a piece of metal from somewhere, either motorway or gun club.
I now have a very sore eye and antibiotic cream for a week. The doc was good.
I've been up for nearly 26 hours... I need sleep!!!
