:dohCan anyone help, I recently boughts a 53 plate terrano and went to replace the tyres today only to find the locking wheel nut key was missing, preventing the tyre fitter from being able to remove the wheels to fit new tyres. The previous owner of the car has no idea where the wheel nut key is so that avenue is a dead end. Is there any way to solve my problem?

I had exactly the same problem and the local tyre place were able to use a tool which tightened around the nut and get it off (did require quite a bit of bashing to remove the nut from the tool once done though)

My advice would be to drive to a couple of independent tyre places, someone will get 'em off!

btw the place that did mine was a place on the a40 in High Wycombe

Just follow the advice James, there a couple of threads. If they are the original OEM ones there are about 60 variants and you need a code number with the cars original paperwork to get a Nissan replacement. If you have that though you are laughing....
