My charge is a 1999 T2......:bow

Thank you I'll have a play this afternoon..... I'll let you know How I got on...

If you pull the rubber stopper off the top of the bonnet switch, the alarm will not set.... peace.
It a lot easier the cutting yourself on the many sharp edges in the rear wing void!

Done.... no cuts to hands just removed on of the spade cornectors on the horn so all it does is now activate the hazzrds but alarm still sets..... thanks for your help gents .....:thumb2

Same problem are we talking the bonnet release catch here on a 2005 2.7?
cheers

On the earlier terrano, in fact the Marti's old truck the switch is on the drivers side inner wing just popping up to touch the bonnet.

Mine died recently and sounded like a duck being strangled!!!!

I repaired it whilst I had the back interior plastics out though ;)

there's near a screw at the second row near the base of seats that needs to come out also the screws at the rear door trim the bolt on the rear right seat belt the rest are trim retaining clips.... think theres only two screws and the seat belt bolt....

Mines the MK4 so might be a little different Jim but remover the plastic boot carpet trim, pull back the door seal, remove the 3rd row seat belt lower bolt & there is a screw in the side panel by the back of the second row back seat. once this has been done open the o/s/r door then carefully pull the side panel off the very top is held in place with metal clips the rest are plastic like the door trims. The reason for opening the o/s/r door is because the side panel go's over that door seal

Cheers guys, will have to leave it for a while as the boot is full of bits that I have removed and I dont really want to disturb it all just let.
