Loadspace Storage Box - T2

[TONUP]

I have been meaning to get something sorted for the back of my T2 for along time now, something that I can put all those bits and pieces that keep rolling about the truck and cluttering up the load-space (dog stuff mostly).

With the help of one of the chippies from work I put this together...





Here with the cages I bought from Aldi on the top of it.

I'ts funny how much stuff you end up carrying for you dog/s:augie was going to build a draw system myself which secured to the tie downs in the boot so it couldn't move about but as we go camping i'd end up loose much need space (carry loads of gear) but once we get a caravan hopfully I won't need to fill the boot as much then one will be made & fitted:augie
It looks great:thumbs but there are a couple of things I would do to your set up, secure it to the tie downs & fit a couple of tie downs to the top of the draw unit so both cages can be secured down so they can't slide about & stop then flying if you were in a crash you could make up some lift up bits for the side so you could so you could store tools etc under them & so you get a nice flat boot floor again
