This came out of a volvo, if i take the chair apart (how?) and bolt it to th elaft side of the drivers chair, i can still move it fwd but wont be able to open the center console?

Or i could remove the bar from the side and bolt through the bottom and make it sit on top of the center console lid/flap, that way i can still gain access and move the chair.

Any ideas?

And lastly...

New arrival

Took delivery of our first T2 on Saturday, filled her up and off we went, my wifes car but I drove most of the weekend we managed to clock up about 250 miles and enjoyed every minute, very pleased with her. New tow bar fitted this morning, now ready for anything.Maggie my wife has started using her today so I,ve got a feeling I,ll not get much chance to drive.

Got in the truck this morning, in the pouring rain. started her up and a splash of water fell in the foot well!

There is a screw missing from the grey cover thet sits below the windscreen bu the bonnet could it be coming through there?

Green laning!

220 miles there and 250 back, all the camping gear and up the sarn with col, coped better than i thought, could do with air-con though.

Cheers col for his 4x4 lesson!

Picked up the jackall today, going to rub it down and paint it later, I have also replaced the taped up dricers wing mirrior and sprayed the passenger on e black so they now match, just trying to find a flat area to wack in the LWB springs and wind up the front torsion bars next!

eyup mate, mine does the same, and yes, it sbecause you might be mising some clips i think. If you trace the water, it drops onto a rubber thingy, and through that. I pushed mine in more, and its stopped leakign now, but i still need to either fit new clips, or seal the holes....

I plugged my hole up (passengers side) using super glue and clear plastic, i cut it in to little disc's and glued it and built it up. and so far it has stopped...

till the winter or big temp changes .... silicone is what you need

that will outlive the truck

Well tried to change the rear springs today, got everything off, but the "anti roll bar" the long one that goes from top right to bottom left was blocking the right hand shock so i couldent get it off, and didnt have a big enough socket (15mm) so had to put it all back on again, Bugger.

But i did get through the post from fill, the intek cb radio and aerial, (SWR to follow). So will get a mag mount from fleabay, and might wire it in tomorrow.
