Ohhh i see, i actually think that led to a gate, so was still partly a lane, or road whatever you want to call it, but yes well said, i do respect the lanes. This one was quite smooth so was travelling faster than usual.

If you check my other videos on here you'll see its like a Sunday driver stole a terrano :thumbs

Infact yes, you can see the tracks leading uphill to the right.

Makes no difference if it leads to a gate.

Also around the start of the vid, does not look like a lane. Just a random route through the wood.

People are gunning for 4x4's now, and any excuse to get a lane shut is used...

Someone even reported one of our Search and Rescue guys towing a boat down a closed lane, to be used to search for a missing person, and they got the police out.. Luckily they permission from the council.

Yes this is quite right, and this bit was routed out to get around the tree that had come down. There was about 30 secs before coming off the main road. But it is a greenlane :thumb2

Not trying to put you in the same Alex, those guys were out-rightly breaking the law, but just saying that people do seem to be gunning for all 4x4's at the moment, and any excuse is good enough as far as they are concerned..

Whilst we are on the subject of law do you know the answer to this...

As I had to deviate off the track (around the tree) is this still breaking the law?

The alternative would be to reverse for 2 mins give or take :nenau

I believe you are allowed to go round a blockage. However there are some odd rules about it
The main issue is the bobble hatters will use this out of context just because they can :doh
