Hello peeps :thumb2 So, completely forgot that one of my bestest mates works for a motor factors, getting me a new starter for £70 plus my old one!

Getting the old motor off was a total pain, once I manged to actually get to the bolts and undo them there was absolutely NO space to get it out, not from top, not from side!!
I had to undo two body mounts and lift the body a bit and undo the steering rod thingy where it attaches to the steering box, even then it was a twunt and I had to "manipulate" the inner arch, I am NOT looking forward to putting the new one in but I am motivated by the thought of hearing her crack up first turn of the key like she used to, its one of my favourite things about her :bow

P.s. It was a Hitatchi one that was on :nenau

yes realy ackward but i have never had to take anything off like you have had too i just fiddled with it and it came out via the hole in the arch if i remember right i had to point the front upwards to get it to come out but funny mine went back in easier but at least you have it off now:lol

undo more body mounts and stick spacers in there T-Doug :naughty
