Hi all I no this might be a really stupid question but just noticed the only lights that come on are the round ones at the bottom at the back of the car is this right.sorry for sounding thick:lol

The upper lights at the back are just brake lights as standard. One or two of us have fitted sidelights in there as well, take a look at my project thread.

That's great thanks :thumbssorry for sounding thick .just didn't seem to be enough light at the rear end :nenau

You didn't sound thick at all. Remember my background with a youth group, as I tell them the only daft question is the one that doesn't get asked.

You're not alone in your thinking, quite a few of us, me and Jim included, thought the same, not enough light, that's why we put some more in :thumb2
Check out jims project thread for a really good way to do it :)

Yes will do definitely needs something doing with it.obviously I never notice as I'm usually driving then noticed tonight as it pulled off the drive.thankyou :thumbs

Annette, do your lights look a little dim?

They could probably need a clean..... Just unscrew the four screws & check the inside of the lenses. Mine were a bit manky, the bulbs needed a wipe too :thumb2

I feel more comfortable driving at night knowing I can be seen better, also if one bulb fails there is another three left :thumb2

Too true :thumb2

I go a bit further than that, as I have 92 red lights on the back of mine plus another 39 brake lights... :lol

Funny you should mention ferret lights, a few years back I modified a couple of extending leads, and changed the line in them to EL wire, one purple lead, and one yellow. When we are walking them at night, not only can we see what direction the lead was stretched in, but it makes them easier to un-muddle as well... :doh

It's like one of those "How many can you see?" puzzles. I've tried about four times to count how many ferrets in the first picture.

:lol

Always cheers me up seeing your bunch of loons.

:thumbs

Thanks.

:lol.

True Story.
When I was very young, if ever we travelled by train, my Grandfather would quickly count the sheep in the fields as we passed.

38 in that field, 68 in that one... I had barely counted to 10 before we passed any field. I was amazed...
After a while, he told me how he did it, quite simple he said.... you count the legs then divide by four lol.:lol:lol

No wonder I became interested in Maths lol.:doh
