Going to upgrade and replace some bulbs on the Patrol this weekend.

So looking to change:

Both Side-lights for LED's. Are they 501 Wedge style?

Both Headlight bulbs for 80w dip/100w main. Is there any problems with 100w bulbs and standard wiring on these? Are they H4?

Looking at how the Side lights come out.........or don't.
I might as well swap the Both indicators when I'm in there. Any idea what bulbs they are?

Any tips or tricks to getting the side/indicator units out?

Don't know much about Trolls, but re headlight bulbs, I fitted 100/80w to my T2 and couldn't see any difference, so I fitted a pair of Osram Nightbreakers, standard (60/55w) and a huge difference. Have since fitted them to my UK car, a Honda Jazz, and to my daughter's Shogun.

I used the Osram nightbreakers from ebay on my t2 made a greay diifference. Bri

There had been some problems with the connectors for the head light bulbs as the holders tended to melt with the higher wattage, so you may need to consider new connectors at some point.

from what i no about mine which is a x reg year 2000 has face lift square headlights and my bulbs r H4:thumbs

Also fitted osram nightbreakers in my trol loads better, but also fitted l.e.d. sidelight strips

same as mine as the small light in the headlight unit is front fog well it is on mine:thumbs

I am thinking about ordering osram nightbreakers is it worth upgrading the fogs at the same time? :nenau

well i have not done fogs think they r H1 not 100% but may do as they look funny when on as they r yellow looking and main lights r whiter looking:thumbs
