Disconnect it and go for a drive, what do you get, Rick
Well, i'm back with mixed feelings.
1st The Maverick is back together and it pulls like he never did (and the power box is disconnected for now).
2nd I have lots of errors on the ECU, altough none of the symptons.
---------------------------------------
From what i could find with the paper clip, i found 11 errors:
13 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
15 - ???
17 - ???
21 - Ignition Signal
22 - Fuel Pump
28 - Cooling Fan Circuit
34 - Knock Sensor
36 - EGR Control-Back Pressure Transducer
37 - Knock Sensor
42 - Fuel Temperature Sensor
47 - Crankshaft Position Sensor
A video from the errors:

------------------------
What was done:
The fuel injection pump was in very bad shape, full of engine oil inside (faulty ring) and with a lot of usage inside.
So, i bought a second hand fuel pump in way better shape then mine but with the electric parts damaged.
We used all the mechanics of the new one and the eletronics from mine.
This was the fuel pump inside:
Fuel from the fuel filter (left) and fuel from the pump (right):
Some guidance on what can be generating all these errors would be appreciated.
Thanks.
PS: It was very nice to drive the Maverick again after 5 weeks!!!
How do I clear them?
Using the paper clip I thought I did that, but they came back...
It's a dark art!!! and does differ between ages, Rick documented it somewhere on here, you might have to get friendly with the search. :thumbs
Yesterday i found that workshop guide.
I will give it a try today.
There are two pumps on the Terrano, Bosch & Zexell both have different code reading via the paper clip method, one has short and release to get the codes and short and hold to clear, the other has short and hold to get codes, then release to clear, this is why there is a lot of confusion re codes, Rick
Now i have a rear locker to install.
Bought a ET136 (Eletric locker), let's see if it's as good has the air lockers.
Body roll: since i lift the Maverick (2"), new rear springs (jimnybits) and a tweak in the front torsion bars, i'm afraid of driving above 60mph (100Km/h), any time i have to do a course correction it feel like the Maverick doesn't "respond" in time.
Since i removed the rear anti roll bar, i'm thinking is there anything in the market to make the roll bar disconnectable from inside? Like the Wranglers have?
Thoughts?
A few pictures in a bit.

Well, no comments, let's move on.
Installed the rear rollbar again and the roll, as expected, improved.
Lost around 1" of wheel travel.
Got to drive it more to fell the differences.
Another topic, poweeeeeeeeeer.
Since the fuel pump was repaired the Maverick now goes like never before, so, i reinstalled the power box... and boy, he pulls very very well.
As usual i can't be happy for too long... so the clutch don't hold that much torque. Example, 5th gear below 2000RPM, press the fun pedal and as soon as it pass the 2000rpm it goes to 3000rpm in a second and stays there until the speed catches up. (like an automatic).
So, recomendations for a chutch? Sames as the original? Upgraded? Customized? Thoughts?
Electric Rear Locker!?!?!?!? Lets hear some more and see some pictures :naughty
An electrical rear anti roll bar link would be amazing, I'm doing a lot of mileage at the moment in my truck and having driven the 3.0 I've just pulled in the short distance around the estate I live on, it's amazing to feel the difference that a rear ARB offers, doing a lot of distance without out makes you feel seasick :flush:
My Y61 has an electric rear ARB, I might take a look at that and see if a Y61 setup could be modded to fit a Terrano :naughty

Yes, they call it ET136.
Here a Pajero Sportwagon and a Terrano 2 are running with those e-lockers. Lets see how long will they last. At least they won't have the air leaks on the seals that usually affects the air ones.
I will try to take some pictures of it.
Somebody also told me that about the rear electric arb from the Y61. With some TLC (that I'm not able to do) it can be a solution.
On the clutch subject, a clutch from Exedy is worth it?
