:thumb2:thumb2:thumb2didn't mean to take your idea but its a good one.
if everyone that goes out laning etc puts up what lanes they know we will soon be able to build a good network of lanes that everyone can use for planning a day out in different areas.(for free:thumbs)
just putting another derbyshire route together for a day in the near future.

elty, id rather you and zippy did the lanes map , if your up for it . you have a much better understanding of lanes than me.
so if you have the time and want to do it ,

my only request is its property of the club when its done and bat gets the passwords etc..... that way no one can bugger off with it

not saying anyone will

Ill help with the maps, i got 3 on the go now

members
camp sites
and garages..

i just need to be told what to add..

how are they coming on then zipps

with the lanes we really want the lanes marked out in simple terms like the ones zipps has done with the members

but 3 colors easy, medium and hard

the hard bit is to get people from the club to send in details on there there lanes,

but the idea is a good one just needs peoples input and ideas. plus someone who has understanding of maps and lane laws /rules

but if its a club map only for club members it would be a valuable tool for members

i need info to add to it..

how do you draw on it to indicate a route?

you have to click on create new map then it will bring up a little tool bar at the top of the map.then you can choose placemark, draw a line etc.

you can also use multi map which shows you the landranger map scale.you can't draw a line on this one just mark the lane with a red cross/circle.very useful as you can mark a lane straight onto your paper map.
i use a combination of different maps when route planning.
