Can anybody point me in the right direction please to some shop in the UK where I can buy a set of LEDs both for my headlights as well as my front fog lights.

Thanks in advance.

Last I heard you can't, but could be wrong wouldn't be the first time.

Here in the UK it would probably be an MoT fail unless its factory fitted / specification.

Your headlight reflector and dip beam lens is set up for a bulb that has a single filament. This type of light source is quite finite in terms of being a single bright light beam that can be controlled by reflector design etc.

You may find that when you fit an LED bulb then the result though bright might not be very good in terms of focus and will be blinding to oncoming traffic when dipped.

If you want some very good lighting I personally would mount a pair of high quality auxiliary driving lamps on a front bar instead.

I assume that a set of Nightbreaker bulbs or similar is not bright enough for you.

i bought a set of relacement headlight units 7" round and a pair of mounting rings like what was fitted to old mini but never got around to fitting them the kit cost £180 but it would be the only legal way of fitting led in the uk still in the box in the loft mine was the mk2 type main light and fog light:thumb2

Not too sure what the bulbs I have fitted. Got the MOT done yesterday for the first time since we bought the Beast and the chap said that the lights were very weak and that I need to get some stronger ones.

Are those Nightbreakers any good?

As it looks like LEDs are out of the question, I would like to get something on the strong side.

Yes Osram Night Breakers are far better than standard halogen even though they are a standard bulb if you get what I mean.

There’s been talk of LED bulbs amongst others being mot fail, remember that the new mot regs have come from EU so will be EU wide too.

I have found the round headlamp terrano to have poor lighting but the later style lamps are far better. As said get some decent auxiliary lights to supplement your high beam.
