Leather Interior

The leather interior I have in my terrano is cracked and has some where (due to getting in and out etc) its a dark cream colour. I am looking at buying some leather restorer to try and improve the appearance. I am struggling to find the colour of it from the vin plate etc. Is the interior colour on the vin plate?

Wont work!!!! I've tried to restore some before, the products wont work as they will be for real leather and the terrano ones are a cheaper vinyl/plastic

Leather treatment

I had this with the drivers seat of our SL what I did was to first deep clean the seat using the old green Swarfega. I brushed it into the cracks with a small paintbrush left it to soak for ten minutes then used a small nail brush on the cracked areas. I wiped off the excess Swarfega and then wiped it off with a clean damp flannel.

Allowed to dry overnight.Then used a small felt tip from a kids colouring set and selected yellow to pencil in along the lines. Left to dry then used Leather Food / Conditioner all over.

For a few days I could see the yellow did not match very well but over a few weeks it faded back and it looked great for about a year then the cracks collected dirt again but wiped clean with a coat of leather food!

Ah righto...I'll save my pennies then and invest in some decent seat covers instead I think!
