Leaky Boot

[One Foot in the Gravy]

So i opened the boot today to find a 6 inch wide wet patch by the door. There are no drips from the roof and the parcel shelf is dry so I'm guessing the water has come down the channel and in from the side/bottom. Any ideas on where it's coming through/how to stop it?

Mastic

Had the same problem with all my Terrano (4 off). My solution is caravan mastic strip, remove trim, mastic across bottom and up 100mm each side, replace trim, sorted.

thanks I might try that with the mastic strip.

I think the cause is the door sill in the top corner, where it closes it's sort of folded over.

Does anyone know if this is fixable? I was wondering about getting some rubber/plastic tubing, making a small incision in the sill, then incerting the new tube around the corner section to sort of build it back out? Has anyone ever tired something similar?
