I have replaced the three leak off pipes on the Injectors had one leaking this morning. Also the small one off No4 with a bung in it.

The only one left to do is the long one from No1 Injector. I beleve this returns to fuel tank.

How do you replace this one as it comes off No1 Injector and goes down the side of the block and I cant seem to see where it conects to.

Hope this helps....this is where the leak off from No1 goes to(Circled red)This is the return to the fuel tank on the top of the injector pump.My leak off pipe is encased in a soft rubber pipe.

How you take a picture like that ? My pipe comes off No I Injector and vanishes down the side of the block and underneath. I can't even see where it goes to. Can,t get my hand down there, so how do you change it if it splits.

I had to remove the engine when working on the head and clutch.......so renewed all my pipes then... I would take a few pics all over the engine when working on it incase people needed to know where items were situated in hard to see areas.

It is a job to get to it...........Can you remove the plastic cover on the inner of the offside wheel to get better access (Pretty sure there is a cover there that clips on)
The pipe is pretty long so it looks like it just goes down , but on closer inspection it comes back up again.......

Thanks I will have a look later. I have read on here that there are clips that are fitted to the pipes at the Injectors, mine have no clips and never have. The three Injector pipes were only replaced 11 months ago, the old ones before them had been on for 7 years never been changed and done 60K. Could it be inferor quality pipe thats caused them to split so soon, as all three that where replaced have split where the go onto the Injector.

If you haven't got the clips then probably a good idea to fit them on the injector pipes(You can see them in my pic)They hold the pipes firm as there is a fair bit of vibration thru them and stop them from rubbing each other.I had an injector pipe rub thru another pipe on my truck just because they were slightly touching each other. The leak off pipes will always go where they join the injector.(Just get the proper leak off pipe)On some vehicles they fitted a steel rail instead of rubber pipes.
