Well been out for a day trip, bit of a trek from Sheffield to Oldham but worth it.

late 2000 X reg SE found on auto trader, real beauty been cherished only 66k
on clock, 2 owners.

offered a grand fo the T2 so took his hand off and thats with recent accident
damage too not fixed yet.

its got the 3.0 litre which sounded sweet and was clean compared to an '03 we
viewed yesterday. Also features dark tints, dixon bate ball/pin hitch and twin
electrics so ready to haul, can't wait to pick it up next week.

Zippy656 do you want first refusal on the front hitch still?

Now I did'nt think you would get a Patrol:eek:well I hope it serves you well:thumbs:thumbs:thumbs

why? wanted summat bit bigger seat and boot wise and more anchor for twin axle even
though t2 great still. hey was thinking shoguns and series 2 discos til woke up and smelt
the coffee, then thought t2 been brill for 4 years best find its big bro!

YOU COME TO OLDHAM & DIDN'T LET US KNOW!!!!!!!!!

Soz mate, at time couldnt remember if you were oldham side or further over, mind did see
some WORST buses though mainly stagecoach.

been to thornham car sales, Royton, seems a decent guy farms cars instead of cows
on his land these days!

not sure yet when going back maybe thursday, or weekend depends on getting covernote
thru etc.

OMG Alan, its a monster, but then so was the t2 when we got it.

Paul, I cant believe was so close to you as said before will let you know, thanks for
the confirmation of the dealer, certainly seems a straight family guy, was showing me
an old 160/260 ytpe he has with high roof. 42 diesel and auto on an L reg family bus!
also a rangey classic restored ground up.

Saw it and arranged with JJ to go see it ,but not to be so enjoy it will keep looking.:thumbs:clap

the 'eagle' has landed!

well got the new beast home, lovely run over woodhead, the 3.0 pullinging an extra
half tonne of truck easily, hardly feel 70 mph, no rattles, squeaks or bangs. Tbh is
much better ride than t2 wish had upgraded long ago, mind its wide gonna have to
take care on some lanes.

only fault is 4wd green light is on but deffo in 2wd on lever, gonna jack front end
up make sure its not a hub dragging, more likely a dicky switch.
